Who am I?

I’m Emilee! I am pictured here (right) with my sister and my mother. I currently work as a clinical instructor for fundamentals and med/surg courses and I am a bedside nurse in the Trauma Surgical ICU. I obtained my BSN in 2020 and recently completed my Master’s degree in Nursing Education and Leadership. I am currently enrolled in a Nursing PhD program and I will keep you updated on my journey towards becoming a Nursing professor. I created this page because of my passion for nursing education. Why the name?

I chose the name because of the generational differences between educators and students. I aim to create a safe space for today's students and help other educators adapt to the learners. Because I am a Gen Z, I like to believe that I can be a resource to help bridge the generational gap.
